Hotel Hospitality Asset Manager - Senior Assoc/VP

Our client is a NY-based global investment firm that specializes in opportunistic investments across corporate, real estate, government debt, structured credit, special sits, and other market segments.

The Hotel Hospitality Asset Manager will join as the firm's hospitality team is expanding and continuing to acquire new assets.

Working closely with the Senior Vice President of Hotel Asset Management, the Associate/Director of Hotel Asset Management will:

Responsibilities

--perform accurate analysis and interpretation of revenue, demand generators, financial reporting, and management of data to regularly assess the performance of the hotel assets and where needed help work on short and long-term strategies to     enhance asset performance.

--  Interface with regional and on-site teams and recommend ways to enhance the performance of the assets

-- Prepare and deliver standard market and hotel operations reports and presentations on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis and ensure that information is accurate and completed on a timely basis

-- Apply data from company benchmarking systems to improve operating results and best practices

-- Maintain current information on changes in demand and supply and information on the market factors that impact the performance and positioning of the hotel assets.

-- Make sure management, franchise, JV, and other agreements are completed and complied

--  Review and analyze quarterly reporting and annual operating budgets

--  Analyze and review ongoing and detailed loss and profit statement reports for assigned assets

--  Participate in the development of the hotel strategic plans

-- Report, track, and interface regularly with partner teams to ensure the proper performance of assigned assets or/and portfolios.

-- Assist with development and diligence periods as well as deal evaluations

--  Develop and track portfolio-wide initiatives that impact asset efficiencies

--  Interface with JV partners, oversee a small portfolio of hotels and perform on-site property inspections

-- Assist the senior team with CAPEX planning and ROI analysis and provide data and information as needed

Qualifications:

--4-10 years of experience working as part of the asset management team for a hotel/hospitality company or a hotel owner or as part of a hotel investment team for a private equity firm or other hotel investment firm-note that we would also consider candidates who have experience as part of a hotel acquisitions team, provide they have a complementary skill set.

--Strong organizational and written and oral communication skills combined with attention to detail.

--Competency in using MS office and a capable person who is numerate with more advanced excel skills.

--BS/BA is required and a Masters' or MBA is a plus.
