Job Overview:

As an Asset Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the operational strategies and financial performance of our residential properties across several states. Reporting directly to Senior Management, you will be instrumental in overseeing all aspects of property management, from financial oversight to tenant relations, ensuring our portfolio not only meets but exceeds our financial goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Oversight: Analyze and report on financial statements monthly, update cash flow analyses, and oversee budgeting and forecasting processes.

Operational Management: Conduct on-site visits, oversee capital expenditures, and manage ongoing construction projects ensuring compliance with budgets and timelines.

Leasing and Tenant Relations: Develop and implement leasing strategies, manage tenant legal proceedings, and maintain high standards of tenant service.

Risk Management: Collaborate with the Risk Management team to oversee insurance processes and contract compliance, ensuring all assets are protected and compliant.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, or Business-related field (advanced degree is a plus).
  • 3-5 years of experience in asset management, specifically in multi-family residential properties including NYC rent-stabilized units.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
  • In-depth experience with lease transactions, property acquisitions, and contract management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel as required.
