Description
Company is seeking a motivated and resourceful candidate to join the real estate team at a privately-held firm in Beverly Hills, CA. The Associate position will facilitate and support asset management, reporting, and implementation of strategic business plans for multifamily real estate assets across California, Washington and Oregon. In addition, the Associate will assist with acquisition and financing efforts across the whole real estate portfolio.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work under Sr. Vice President of Multifamily to manage and implement strategic business plans for apartment properties
- Oversee apartment unit and common area renovation projects
- Track renovation budgets and payments to outside vendors
- Manage in-house engineering team to address deferred maintenance and capital improvements projects at apartment properties
- Liaison with outside vendors to solicit proposals for deferred maintenance and capital improvement projects
- Work under Sr. Vice President of Multifamily to manage in-house and 3rd party property managers
- Conduct weekly rent roll analyses to assist in setting market rents
- Participate in bi-monthly revenue management calls
- Track overall performance of portfolio properties against targeted budgets
- Periodically visit portfolio properties to ensure proper implementation of business plans and overall condition of the buildings
- Assist Real Estate team with acquisition, disposition, and financing due diligence
- Assist Real Estate team with ad-hoc projects and analysis

Qualifications
- 2-5 years of work experience in a real estate setting (multifamily apartment experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of real estate concepts and fundamentals
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Proficiency in MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint
