The Team

You will join Bridge’s Office Fund Manager where you will get to implement a real estate investment strategy that targets value add commercial office assets. You will be working with an amazing team to help manage over 9 million square feet of commercial office space. You will be building on Bridge’s deep industry expertise as an owner/operator, you will have the opportunity to specialize in acquiring well-located, high-quality office assets!   

The Job

As Vice President, you will be working closely with the Directors on managing a market of Office Buildings. This is a role where you will need to have strong analytical, critical thinking and writing skills with direct responsibility over office properties. You will also be overseeing a team of analysts who will assist you in the underwriting of potential acquisitions and administration of asset management tasks.

  • You will oversee day to day operations of a portfolio of Class A commercial office buildings
  • You will prepare strategic plans for assigned properties and contribute to overall portfolio plans, as well as prepare property strategic plans, annual budgets, capital and leasing plans and quarterly valuation updates of portfolio assets
  • You will position assets for sale and lead the sales/marketing process including the organization of all pre-disposition activities such as property inspections, obtaining BOV’s, coordinating investment sale broker presentations, and obtaining Investment Committee approval.
  • You will provide acquisition leadership in both deal procurement and due diligence process, including creation, review of financial and operational assumptions in pro-formas
  • You will create, present to, and gain approval by the representative Investment Committee
  • You will manage coordination of post-acquisition activities and integration of assets into the ownership's portfolio.
  • You will communicate with clients, joint venture partners, construction consultants, brokers, legal and risk management professionals.

What will you need?

  • You will have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions and/or asset management with commercial office experience  
  • You will have an expert ability to review and understand financial models in excel and Argus Enterprise required
  • You will have strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical and problem solving ability
  • You will have strong organizational skills and attention to detail including an editing eye, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • You will have strong negotiating skills with the ability to navigate nuance and complexity
  • You will have a strong sense of personal motivation, responsibility, and entrepreneurship
