The Real Estate Credit Analyst’s primary responsibility is to provide underwriting, credit analysis, and due diligence for the Commercial Mortgage Team. This includes all core and core-plus loans on behalf of Voya and its clients. Key responsibilities involve underwriting and due diligence for newly originated loans by the REF team.


Please Note: This position has been designated as hybrid-office/home. Details of your in-office schedule will be finalized with your manager.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze market conditions (vacancy, rental rates, new supply)
  • Review and approve all 3rd party Reports
  • Communicate and negotiate loan closings
  • Other Due Diligence review (Lease Review, Estoppel/SNDA, etc)
  • Train new employees in the REF team
  • Assist in building necessary models for improved efficiencies and underwriting transactions.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate or Finance with a focus in Real Estate.
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of commercial real estate and analytical experience required.
  • Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of analytical and market research tools (Rockport, CoStar, REIS, etc.).
