Cardone Capital has an immediate opening for an experienced Manager of Financial Reporting to join our dynamic team.
New York Times bestselling author, Reality TV Show Host and International Sales Expert, Grant Cardone was the largest private investor in multi-family real estate in the State of Florida and has a portfolio of over 6,000 units. Mr. Cardone, formed Cardone Capital with the mission to identify, acquire and manage income producing properties that provide opportunities for investors to preserve capital investments, and collect consistent cash distributions while waiting for future capital appreciation on the assets.
The Manager of Financial Reporting directs and oversees the preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements for external use, including (but not limited to) the listing below:
Ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines
Prepares financial statements for tax reporting and will be liaison with and oversee the work of external tax preparers
Confirms that entries, transactions, and accounts are accurately and properly consolidated and are included in internal and external financial statements
Advises management of trends and changes in reporting requirements and recommends best approach for any changes in reporting
May serve as a liaison with or oversee the work of external auditors
May direct the preparation of materials for internal reporting and LLC members
Requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Assists with developing budgets, policies, and procedures to support CFO
Perform other related duties as required.
Undergraduate Degree in Accounting from a 4 year University is required
CPA and/or Advanced Degree preferred
Professional Experience-5-8 Years of Experience with emphasis on the following:
Minimum 2 years Public Accounting
Experience with real estate investment fund structure, tax returns involving real estate funds and partnerships
Understands SEC Compliance requirements
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Yardi and Quickbooks
Strong organization, planning and analytical skills
Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal skills
Salary (Competitive, depending on experience)
Hours are Monday through Friday 9am-6pm with overtime as needed
Office location in Aventura, FL
