Description

If you are energized by working in a team environment to overcome real estate challenges, we would like to hear from you.  We’re hiring project managers at multiple levels to tackle a wide variety of building renovations and oversee new development projects throughout the U.S.

Real Projectives®, Real Estate Enhancement Experts™, is a professional project management and development advisory services firm based in Laurel, Maryland.  Our culture provides equal opportunity, promotes teamwork and respect, encourages professional and personal growth, allows reasonable work-life flexibility, pays competitively, offers health, retirement and educational benefits, and rewards extraordinary contributions.

Our project managers are frequently entrusted to take on the role of owner or investor representative.  So, we look for teammates that are trustworthy and reliable leaders who thrive on overcoming challenges, coordinate complex details, communicate well, and achieve the goals of each assignment while juggling multiple projects in various phases.  You’ll work with lots of different people and be involved throughout the entire life-cycle of facilities beginning with acquiring a building/site, developing a strategy, engaging a vendor team, overseeing design and engineering, administering construction, and transitioning a project to occupancy, as well as trouble-shooting a spectrum of existing building issues. You’ll be exposed to many different types of real estate products to include multifamily, hotels, commercial, retail, industrial, warehouse, self-storage, manufactured housing and more.

Qualified candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in construction, architecture, building engineering or real estate development, continue to pursue advanced training and certifications in project management, are proficient using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Project software, hold a valid driver’s license and own a reliable vehicle for regional transportation, and be able and willing to travel domestically and internationally when needed.  This position will involve climbing ladders and steps and navigating sites that are under construction.  Level of title and compensation will be determined based on qualifications and extent of relevant experience.

To Apply: Please submit your customized resume and a cover letter (Word or PDF preferred) that, at minimum, answers these two questions:  how will your education, skills and experience help you achieve success in this position and why will your attitude and style be a good fit for our team?  Incomplete submissions will not be considered.
