Who you are

Reporting into the Vice Presidents of Real Estate Management Services, you will lead a key portfolio across Toronto, ensuring the optimization and delivery of tangible results through effective leadership. Your focus will be to develop and grow the building operations services capabilities, as well as enhancing long-term asset value through proactive and innovative management. As the General Manager, you will work collaboratively with all functional groups and other business units to ensure ongoing successful service to each client.

What you bring:

  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive operations and technical management experience within commercial property management.
  • A proven track record in leading and developing teams to meet and overachieve set targets.
  • An ability to deliver excellent customer service at all levels of an organization and with external partners and clients. 

Bonus skills and experience

  • Commercial real estate accreditation such CPM or RPA.
  • Experience in YARDI Voyager (integrated accounting).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

What success looks like:

  • Management of regional capital projects from planning through to execution, ensuring excellent customer service
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop business plans, operating and capital budgets that enhance your portfolios values and owners objectives.
  • Building and developing a cost effective, service oriented property operations team.
  • Being an expert in your field, attending networking events to enhance the value of Colliers property operations to potential clients.
