PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES SAP’s Global Real Estate and Facilities (GRF) organization manages the real estate portfolio and operational facility management. GRF attends to tasks in the area of real estate such as contract negotiations and rental agreements as well as the realization of technical and construction major projects relating to Facility Management. GRF is also responsible for operating the SAP Data Centers and Office Buildings.

- Functional knowledge of various aspects of Facility and project management is a must
- Should have handled large fit out projects, experience in managing construction project will be an advantage
- Ability to Integrate facility management into business process
- Essential knowledge in handling Corporate Real Estate and lease negotiation
- Technical expertise and experience in handling critical office equipment’s
- Change management and personnel management
- Financial Analysis and reporting of facilities management statistics
- Ability to manage capital and operational expense budgets
- Build relationships to manage user needs and expectations, high degree of stakeholder management
- Experience with space management, design, and implementation of flexible office solutions
- Negotiation skills of contracts and local vendor services
- Ability to set best practices and guidelines

- Establish and maintain good relationships with all Business Partners and Executives

- Understanding of process and interfaces across organizational boundaries that relate to area of responsibility
- Represent SAP to customers
- Oversee budget planning and controls
- Conduct performance/salary management, address people matters, hire staff and develop talent
- Report activity to Head of GRF APJ and Greater China
- Lead sub region facilities team including contractors to set clear objectives, monitor and report activity, and to ensure delivery by maximizing the resources.
- Implementation and promotion of operational initiatives, such as ‘Green’ or sustainable improvements.
- Negotiation of fee and service arrangements with professional firms and contract vendors, in coordination with Procurement
- Coordinate project activity of new office construction, office renovations and building repairs
- Ensure internal compliance
- Closely liaise with neighboring department(s) to ensure optimal use of resources
Experience
- Candidate will have 15+ years of functional experience relevant to facilities, real estate and construction management.
- Demonstrated experience in facilities operations and projects, and ability to manage a large portfolio of office ranging in size from service offices to large operational locations.
