Job Responsibilities

 

You will assist in asset management activities for the student accommodation portfolio in United States of America. These activities include maintaining portfolio databases including financial information, monitoring external property managers’ activities and deliverables, establishing asset management or property management practices, participating in regular site inspections and audit, and participating in monthly asset management meetings.  You will also assist in asset management reporting across the portfolio, which shall include preparation of monthly and quarterly reports and maintenance of financial models. In addition, you will be expected to participate in leasing activities, including preparation of lease memos, financial analysis of prospective leases, research and maintenance of leasing database, and preparation of individual tenant's underwriting files. You will also assist in preparation and maintenance of financial reports and variance analysis, preparation and monitoring of budgets, and financial modeling of assets, portfolio and fund. Other responsibilities include working closely with external property managers to ensure that the asset is properly maintained while building strong relationships with tenants and coordinating with external parties.

 

Job Requirements

 

You should possess a Degree in Real Estate, Finance or its equivalent with at least 2 years’ relevant experience in advanced financial modeling / analysis. To succeed in this role, you should be a good team player, possess a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, hands-on and resourceful. You should also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. You should have good knowledge of the real estate markets.
