Job Requirements:
Direct the sourcing, underwriting, obtaining entitlements, and oversight of development activities to grow the existing industrial and commercial real estate footprint.  Manage the leasing and sale process for commercial properties with an emphasis on the industrial sector.  Bachelor’s degree in real estate, engineering, architecture, business administration or the equivalent required.  Minimum of 10 years applicable experience in the real estate industry.  Experience with entitlements and development required.  Direct report to vice president of Commercial Real Estate division.

 

Essential Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Direct the development and acquisition/disposition activities of the Commercial/Industrial Division.  Responsibilities including market analysis, financial underwriting, the negotiation of real estate contracts, due diligence, securing entitlements, and coordination of third party consultants.
  • Source, underwrite and negotiate industrial build-to-suit opportunities.
  • Manage efforts of sales and leasing team to include negotiation of lease proposals, lease documents and land sale contracts.
  • Develop and execute an annual marketing, sales and leasing plan for existing commercial properties.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing tenants and brokerage community with a focus on developing future business opportunities.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, professional guidance, direction and supervision to other internal team members, including the manager of sales and leasing.
  • Duties are not limited to those described above.  Management may assign other duties as needed.

Years of Experience:

10 years applicable work experience in all phases of industrial and commercial real estate.
