Position:
Hybrid loan analyst / deal sourcing & originator role with other responsibilities and growth opportunities within the company.
Responsibilities:
Looking for a hard working, intelligent, motivated analyst / originator who understands how to underwrite mortgage loans and real estate investments across the cap stack. Primary function will be to underwrite all deals (loan requests) that come in, but will also help with loan servicing, originating and sourcing, call campaigns, database entry, networking, fundraising, asset management and growing the business.
Experience/Qualifications:
Candidate ideally has experience underwriting and closing bridge loans, construction loans, and has some knowledge of the legal aspects of the business. Candidate should have at least a general understanding of both real estate at the asset level and the economics involved in real estate as a whole. In-depth excel modeling skills is essential.
Candidate should have excellent interpersonal and entrepreneurial skills and understand how to network and originate deal flow. Candidate should be driven, hungry and open to going to events, sourcing new deals, underwriting deals, servicing existing loans and be very detail oriented. Additionally, this candidate should be someone who gets excited by deals and can handle a fast paced environment working alongside the CEO every day.
Bachelor's degree from a reputable school is required.
