Comptroller

This is for NYC Management, the property/asset management division of The Besen Group.

Job Description
- Supervise accounting and property management departments
- Interface with property managers on creation of budgets and monitor variance
- Prepare monthly management reports
- Insure proper maintenance of all general ledger accounts
- Review accounts receivable and accounts payable for all assets
- Oversee payroll
- Maintain compliance and interact with CPA for any month end adjustments

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of accounting and financial experience in NYC real estate
- Advanced knowledge of Yardi software
- Solid understanding of NYC real estate accounting practices
- Proven supervisory ability and ability to work within established deadlines
- Ability to prioritize and handle confidential/sensitive information
