About the role

Responsible for ensuring that space management software is accurately representative and effectively utilized to support Ferguson's business objectives. The job involves analyzing the organization's space needs, developing space plans, and coordinating with various stakeholders to implement those plans.

  • This role will be performed on-site in Newport News, Va.


What you'll do
• Utilize existing facilities management software to track, schedule and plan all associate moves within HQ Campus (ServiceNow, Wisp by Gensler, and Agilquest).
• Partner with internal business and functional leaders to develop occupancy forecasts and space requirements. Ensure floor plans and seat assignments are accurate by conducting routine space audits.
• Review and complete incoming requests for moves within service-level agreement timelines.
• Provide customer interface to validate office vacancies, floor plans, and proper occupancy information.
• Coordinate strategic planning for moves, adds, and changes with senior leaders and stakeholders.
• May create, modify, and maintain AutoCAD drawings to provide accurate floor plans and occupancy information.
• May be required to work off hours or weekends with minimal notice.

What you'll need
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Required. Minimum of two years of related experience or training.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Well-versed in space management software and industry-standard processes, Wisp by Gensler experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills to respond appropriately to pressures, deadlines, and frequent changes in priorities and schedules are essential requirements.
• General experience with BOMA, Life Safety, and code requirements.
• Validated understanding of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office 365.
• Must be able to work well in both a team environment and independently
