Description


We are looking to hire a qualified  Executive Director, Investor Services and Reporting (ISR) who will help the Company’s Global Investor Group build and foster strong relationships with the global investment community. The ISR Executive Director will help develop a compelling value creation narrative by setting and executing on the ISR mission of providing best in class service and insights to our diverse investor base, including through required reporting and by responding to investor inquiries. This is a management role that requires outstanding communication and analytical skills, people management talents, as well as successful experience working cross-functionally to provide timely, accurate and appropriate information to our investors. This is a highly visible role, interacting with C-suite leaders and portfolio management, finance, compliance, and other leaders throughout the business.  The person hired into this role will be based out of San Antonio, Texas and will have responsibilities to the Executive Managing Director of the Global Investors Group and CFO.


Key Responsibilities

  • Help determine and execute on the strategic objectives of the ISR team, including short-term and long-term goals for efficiency, improvement and customer service, including performance measurement KPI’s and reporting.
  • Manage a team of ISR associates, including developing, mentoring, and setting objectives that are consistent with the strategic objectives of the Company, GIG and ISR.
  • Assist our investor base with information on all current and future investment offerings managed by the Company, including subscription agreements, private placement memorandum, limited partnership agreements, and other fund related documents.
  • Manage the coordination, production, and distribution of quarterly and annual investor reports.
  • Collaborate with the Global Due Diligence Team  in investor operational due diligence reviews.
  • Onboard new  investors to the Investor Portal.
  • Maintain processes and procedures for our Investor Portal.
  • Use Investor Portal software to track and maintain records for all investors and investments.
  • Manage capital call and distribution communications with investors in coordination with finance and investments.
  • Provide internal teams with regular updates on ISR interactions with current and prospective clients.
  • Coordinate with Compliance to maintain and implement any investor reporting and disclosure requirements as part of being a Registered Investment Advisor with the SEC.
  • Ensuring the Company’s ISR program is effectively executed, including maximizing investor-focused information flow and managing the ISR budget and vendor relationships.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred
  • 7-10+ years of experience in investor reporting. Real estate private equity experience strongly preferred.
  • Management experience, with proven skills in developing and motivating a team to achieve high performance.
  • Advanced proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office Suite, .
  • Exceptionally strong analytical and communication (both verbal and written) skills. 
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed.
  • Experience with Yardi preferred.
  • Proficiency in both US and international real estate reporting standards (NCREIF, INREV, etc.) preferred.
  • Must be willing to work on-site and show proof of COVID-19 vaccination (or request and receive an authorized exemption).
  • Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job title.
