GAIA is hiring an Assistant Property Manager / Leasing Administrator to:
- Build positive relationships with prospective and current tenants
- Oversee lease applications and verify that they are complete including resident screening and income verification
- Administer the lease execution and ensure the accuracy of all lease records
- Oversee the timely and successful completion of maintenance requests
- Administer all move in/out activities in Yardi
- Verify and correspond with tenants on renewal offers and documents
- Run and maintain various lease administration reports as needed
- Assist the PM with rent collections and tenants’ default matters
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associates degree in a related field
- Experience with residential real estate lease administration, in NYC preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Yardi strongly preferred
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and listening skills
- Detail orientated and ability to complete tasks accurately under the time pressure
- Positive attitude and commitment
The salary range for this position is $65k - $80k, depending on experience. This position is on-site. Gaia Real Estate provides employees the option to work remotely two days per week.
