Job Overview
Reporting to the Competitive Sites Manager, this position performs highly responsible professional duties related to a proactive and holistic effort to position redevelopment sites within Hillsborough County. Position provides support to manager and department leadership in program administration, client outreach, and data analysis to assist County efforts in incentivizing strategic real estate development. This position’s duties are essential in assisting the County in diversifying its economic base by attracting jobs and investment to unincorporated Hillsborough County.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Economic Development, Business, Public Administration or related area. Minimum of three to less than five years proven experience with an Economic Development, Redevelopment Planning or similar program or related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university may substitute for the preferred experience. (A comparable amount of training, education or experience can be substituted for the minimum qualifications.)
