Position Overview:
The Portfolio Management Analyst will be based in San Francisco and will play a critical role in managing, monitoring, and reporting on SRE’s real estate investments. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Quantitative Analysis:
- Assisting with quarterly investment valuations- Compiling and updating relevant fund models for Stepstone’s various accounts
- Real estate investment forecasting and scenario analysis
- Preparing annual re-forecasts of existing investments
Investment Monitoring:
- Tracking performance of investments through report reviews, site inspections, manager meetings, market research and broker discussionsPresentation and Document Writing:
- Preparing/coordinating fund-level quarterly reports for both internal and external audiences- Monitoring and documenting cash activity
- Address recurring and ad-hoc investor requests
- Assisting with business development and client support
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree from top-tier institution- Strong analytical and financial skills, accounting background and real estate background a plus
- 1+ year(s) of real estate investment, accounting, or asset/portfolio management experience required
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word; PowerBI and/or Argus experience a plus
- High level of commitment and strong self-motivation; strong attention to detail
- Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Ability to foster a collaborative environment through communication with various internal teams
