WHAT WE NEED
Acquisitions Sourcing, Eastern US
- Identify & source new investment opportunities in the Eastern U.S. region
- Responsible for finding on-market, off-market, and portfolio deals
- Develop an understanding of Baceline’s Target Markets and investment criteria
Relationship Management
- Build and manage a strong network of stakeholders within the region
- Correspond regularly with brokers, owners, and other industry professionals
- Promote the Baceline brand as the premier owner of Neighborhood Shopping Centers
Deal Champion Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire deal flow process, from initial sourcing to closing to internal handover
- Includes: initial modeling & lease review, due diligence oversight, and business plan preparation
- Present deals to Investment Committee for approval
Global Acquisitions Support
- Pitch in on additional acquisitions or dispositions as needed, regardless of region
- Participate in model review and provide insight for all company acquisitions
- Collaborate with multiple Baceline departments to ensure a smooth acquisition process
Acquisitions Analyst Training & Development
- Assist in the professional development of Acquisitions Analysts
- Offer guidance on all aspects of the real estate investment process
WHAT WE NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field (real estate emphasis preferred)
- 5+ years of applicable experience in commercial real estate (retail preferred)
- Exceptional real estate financial analysis skills
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining excellent quality standards
- Coordination and time management experience is essential
- Business writing, problem solving, analytical, and quantitative skills are needed
- Must be highly organized, detailed oriented, and deadline driven
- Ability to work well in both collaborative and independent settings
- Must demonstrate a proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
- CoStar and Argus experience required; Salesforce experience preferred
- 30-40% anticipated travel
