This position can be based in New York City (in office) or West Coast (remote).

 

Job Overview:

Your challenge will be to help execute the company’s global real estate strategy under the direction of the senior Acquisitions team.  Your chief responsibility will be to conduct analysis on the various deals in the pipeline for Residential, Office, and Retail properties.  Additionally, you will be responsible for assisting the senior acquisitions lead throughout the acquisition process.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate potential transactions through extensive analysis using Argus Enterprise
  • Create Offering Memorandums for new acquisitions, recapitalizations, and dispositions
  • Conduct market research including demographics, location analysis and competitor information to facilitate decision making
  • Submit written findings and recommendations on all prospective acquisitions
  • Help write letters of intent outlining principal business terms of the transaction
  • Work with various teams to complete all necessary financial analysis and all facets of due diligence
  • Ad hoc projects and analysis, as needed

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Math, or related Business major
  • Superior verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cohesive team environment
  • Positive, proactive work ethic and approach
  • Well developed organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Flexibility and ability to multitask
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced evolving environment
  • Self-starter & able to work independently
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Resourceful and persuasive in nature
  • Knowledge of lease language & industry practices
  • Required to know ARGUS Enterprise
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Computer savvy with industry related financial modeling tools
  • Willing to travel
  • Minimum of 1 year related industry experience
