Role Description
QuadReal is currently seeking an Analyst to be a member of the Asset Management team providing analytical and reporting support for US Industrial portfolio. The position anticipates the candidate will grow into the role of a junior asset manager. This position will be based at our corporate office in New York City and will report to the Vice President, Asset Management, US Industrial.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with asset manager to maximize the total return for each asset through the analysis of property fundamentals and identifying opportunities for improved performance
• Understand and be exposed to all aspects of the real estate lifecycle — with a focus on tracking the status of projects throughout construction, lease up, stabilization and divestment
• Participate in the drafting and execution of strategic annual business plans for each asset that will govern its daily operations, position in the market, and ESG initiatives
• Provide support in the preparation of cash flow reforecasts and variance analyses between annual plans and pro forma
• Aggregate asset management data and work with multiple teams across portfolio management, finance/accounting, tax, legal and investment teams to audit and maintain databases for accurate and timely reporting
• Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for clients and senior management
• Work closely with the investment and valuation team to create, audit, and maintain Argus and Excel-based asset management models for each asset. Prepare hold/sell analyses, lease approval memos and other ad-hoc investment/asset management memos as required
• Evaluate the local markets to identify changes and trends and the related impact on real estate values and investment strategies • Travel to visit real estate assets throughout USA as appropriate

Education & Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred in real estate acquisitions, asset management, valuation, construction management/budgeting, accounting/audit, operations, or finance
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with Accounting, Finance or Real Estate preferred
• Understanding of real estate fundamentals, financing principles, and capital structures
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ARGUS Enterprise. Applicable experience with data dashboard creation in Excel and Power BI. Familiar with Yardi and MSCI Effective oral and written communication skills
• Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
• Ability to multi-task effectively
