PassiveInvesting.com, a Carolina-based private equity real estate investment firm, is seeking to hire a new Director of Finance to work closely with the executive team as continue to acquire additional assets and grow our team.
Our team is focused on acquiring cash flow producing, institutional quality apartment and self-storage assets within select MSAs in the USA. Our team has purchased over 4,000 units and over $680mil worth of multifamily and self storage real estate.
We are entrepreneurial by nature and looking for a motivated, self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment. We will be at over $1B in asset under management by the end of 2021.
Position Summary: This position will primarily focus on overseeing accounting, reviewing property management monthly bookkeeping, auditing apartment complex performance vs budget vs pro-forma, managing investor distributions, bi-weekly team payroll, reporting to the executive team, etc. Additionally developing additional control/accounting team members.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple company accounting and books
- Interact with executive team including CPA to insure accurate reporting and tax efficiencies
- Further develop/streamline investor reporting
- Oversee company payroll
- Assist in developing and expanding financial departments
Qualifications:
- Expert level skills in accounting
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency to include PPT and Excel
- High capacity experience
- BS degree or higher in related field
- 3-5 years experience in similar role
- High quality communicator
- Able to oversee and develop teams
