Job Description Overview
Assist the Investments Team’s primary functions of investment underwriting (speculative ground-up development projects, built-to-suits, and existing class A/B buildings), asset management/leasing, and research.
General Qualifications Required
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business; Finance and/or Real Estate required
Experience: Entry level; 0-2 years’ analytical experience
Skills/Behaviors:

- Argus experience (DCF and/or Enterprise) preferred

Major Areas of Responsibility:
Capital Deployment
- Assist in acquisitions and developments by initiating, reviewing, and analyzing underwriting models
- Support the aggregation and compiling of comps as well as market data for the evaluation of new opportunities, including inputting all data into internal database
- Manage the aggregation and compiling of comps as well as market data for the evaluation of new opportunities
- Assist in managing pipeline, critical dates
- Compile pipeline reports for bi-monthly deal support meetings
Portfolio and Asset Management
- Assist the regional teams in analyzing potential leases
- Perform hold/sell analysis on assets to maximize portfolio performance
- Compile financial analysis and memoranda for dispositions
- Assist in the monthly update process for existing developments
Research
- Collect and analyze macro/micro data on an ongoing basis for economic forecasting
- Benchmark portfolio performance against various indices and perform attribution analysis
Approval Memos
- Assist Investments Team and region in writing approval memos for new acquisitions, developments, lease approvals, and sales
