What it's about

As an Investment Analyst you will support the private real estate team and take part in all aspects of private market investments, with a particular focus on direct and secondary real estate investments. For this challenging opportunity, the ideal candidate would be a self-starter who works well in a very entrepreneurial environment and possesses solid social skills.

 

Responsibilities Include:

•           Perform quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective real estate investments

•           Write investment recommendations for presentation to investment committee

•           Perform various tasks related to investment monitoring, product reporting, market research and marketing efforts

•           Coordination of transaction documentation and execution (in conjunction with internal and external legal counsel)

•           Coordinate with senior professionals to underwrite and execute direct and secondary transactions in the Americas

What we expect

•           Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university with coursework emphasis on Business Administration, Accounting, Finance and/or Economics

•           1-2 years of relevant work experience at an Investment Bank, REIT or private investment firm

•           Excellent quantitative skills: preferably with experience building real estate valuation models and distribution waterfalls

•           Proficient in Microsoft Excel: ARGUS experience is a plus

•           Interpersonal skills with strong work ethic and desire to learn and succeed

•           Strong oral and written communication skills
