Your Team

Project + Task Management

• Ensures that projects are designed and developed in accordance with Development Resources Design Standards and BTS specifications.
• Serves as a resource for project design with the ability to travel on short notice, as required.
• Represents BTS and manages a process improvement initiative. Liaisons with operations, development, marketing, architects, contractors, and suppliers on a continuing basis to determine areas of improvement for future projects.
• Represents BTS in project design reviews (via Bluebeam) to ensure they are completed in an effective, timely, and fiscally responsible manner.
• Directs outside suppliers/contractors during the design and development process to ensure that Asset Services and Brookfield standards are understood and implemented. 

Communications + Reporting

• Assists the greater design team with overcoming hurdles in project delivery schedules. Communicates verbally and in writing to development team(s), Development and Construction Services, as well as external contacts such as architects, contractors, and vendors on design specifications.
• Communicates status updates for projects in design; ensures all relevant parties are updated and have a source of reference for ongoing project information. Manages projects to adhere to the established design schedule by ensuring all BTS design reviews are completed in a timely manner.  When issues arise, provides notice to key stakeholders and implements a plan to bring the project back on-track, or alert stakeholders of an unavoidable delay.
• Represents BTS in all lessons learned discussions at the conclusion of projects. If necessary, communicate to appropriate internal Brookfield stakeholders of any BTS lessons learned and/or update guidelines for future projects.
• Attends conferences and training sessions to stay informed of changes in technology or regulatory changes that affect building operations.
• Maintains all relevant BTS documentation, including, but not limited to, technology specifications, product catalogs, design standards, responsibility matrices, and engagement checklists.

Project Commissioning + Turnover

• Provides assistance, when necessary, with commissioning work at new project sites during late stage construction.
• Ensures that the entire technology scope meets project specifications, and in the cases when adjustments are necessary, provides guidance.
• Participates in project coordination meetings.
• Assists with project site surveys, as needed, to approve installation of systems infrastructure, pathways, and cabling per project plans and specifications.  Ensures carrier infrastructure and cabling is being installed properly based on project profile, contract agreements, and project schedule.

Must Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Real Estate, or related discipline from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technology and real estate operations/development.
• Must have great attention to detail and work well under pressure.
• Must be comfortable with presenting to senior management and working in cross-functional teams; has proven ability to influence across the organization at multiple levels.
• Critical thinker; exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for technology and real estate development.
• Self-motivated, team player with excellent communication skills.
• Collaborative attitude and ability to work constructively with multidisciplinary team in development, design, and construction to achieve the best business outcomes.
• Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.
• Whatever it takes approach!
• Ability to travel up to 25%, as needed.

Nice to Haves

• Computer-based design skills a plus; proficiency in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and/or Revit preferred.
