Description
We are seeking a Lease Revenue Analyst to manage and oversee the entire revenue stream, as primarily driven by the rent roll, for a portfolio of properties. The Lease Revenue Analyst is responsible for complete, accurate and timely billing and recording of all tenant rent, impounds and other revenue.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage and oversee lease revenue accurately and completely via the rent roll process for a portfolio of properties, through timely completion of work in a deadline-oriented environment with monthly, quarterly, annual and project specific requirements.
- Accurately bill rent and additional charges in accordance with all executed documents or other contracts.
- Administer original lease entry and any necessary modifications completely in an accurate and timely manner.
- Quickly and effectively assist tenants, property managers, and other internal departments with revenue related questions and issues.
- Understand and apply lease language and billing methodologies to various revenue calculations such as percentage rent and index rent.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret and apply complex lease provisions.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and accrual accounting
- Accounting or financial experience in a real estate preferred but not required.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Ability to adapt to change resulting from business and software application changes, revised policies and procedures, and job responsibility assignments.
