Role
Sage Hall Partners is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its growing Investments Team, which is focused on investing in real estate properties (across all asset classes) in the Greater New York City area. The role will be based in the Firm’s New York headquarters located near Grand Central Terminal.

The Senior Analyst will be primarily involved with the (i) evaluation and due diligence of potential investments, (ii) oversight and implementation of business plans/asset management, and (iii) investor relations and operations activities.
As an early member of the Firm, the Senior Analyst will have the opportunity for meaningful career growth and a chance to significantly contribute to the success of Sage Hall Partners.

The preferred candidate will have a demonstrated history of full-time work experience in real estate investing.

Responsibilities

Acquisitions

• Underwrite potential new investments (both equity and debt transactions) by creating dynamic property & portfolio models, including projecting cash flows, financing, JV waterfalls etc.

• Perform due diligence on an asset level by reviewing relevant materials, including rent rolls, leases, historical income statements, historical capital expenditures, management agreements, union agreements, environmental site assessments, property condition reports, service contracts, zoning reports, and other materials

• Prepare Investment Committee materials

Asset Management

• Aid the asset management efforts by overseeing & facilitating an investment’s business plan including leasing, hold/sell analyses, annual budgeting, preparing property valuations and executing re-financings, etc.

Investor Relations
• Assist in fundraising and investor relations efforts by preparing investor materials and answering investor questions on current and potential investments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record
• 1-2+ years of related real estate investment experience in an analytical role
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel modeling skills required
• ARGUS experience highly preferred
• Proven history of managing a variety of projects with time constraints and highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
