REO ASSET ADMINISTRATOR
Newport Beach, CA

Boardwalk Investments Group, LLC ("Boardwalk") is a privately held commercial real estate investment company. Headquartered in Newport Beach, California, the Firm currently manages a commercial real estate portfolio comprised of retail, mixed-use, office and multifamily assets located primarily in Orange County, California. The Firm is led by a seasoned management team with over 50 years of commercial real estate experience. Since 2012, Boardwalk's investment strategy is to actively acquire, stabilize, and manage commercial real estate located in core, coastal markets in California. In 2019, the Firm transacted in over $150 million of acquisitions including grocery-anchored, mixed-use and high street retail assets.

We have an excellent opportunity for a REO Asset Administrator to join our team managing the administration activities for the private real estate portfolio.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research competitive market demographics and consumer demographics, and canvas for prospective new tenants
  • Cold call prospective tenants
  • Ensure Leasing Database is updated with current status of leasing activity on each property
  • Respond to all incoming leasing inquiries to capture opportunities
  • Coordinate with Property Management for notice letters/communications
  • Prepare lease request packages
  • Assist with launching and managing tenant portal/work order system
  • Update leasing and marketing materials
  • Update tenant/ vendor contact sheets
  • Assist with invoicing and budget tracking
  • Assist with filing and record keeping
  • Communicate with current tenants and vendors
  • Setting up, transferring & cancelling utilities for commercial and residential
  • Other misc. administrative tasks

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an administrative capacity, real estate industry preferred
  • Experience with commercial leasing preferred
  • A flexible, can-do attitude with customer orientation and excellent communication skills
  • Expert in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Willing to travel (local)
