Longline Holdings, LLC (“Longline”) is a multi-strategy credit and real-estate investment firm based in Atlanta, GA.   Longline Principals have invested over $250 million through the acquisition and financing of real estate assets since 2012.  Longline’s broad investment mandate allows for creative solutions in otherwise complex financial situations. 

 Job Description:

Longline is looking to hire a Senior Real Estate Analyst and a Senior Credit Analyst to join the team in Atlanta. The Senior Analyst will provide initial vetting and analysis of inbound potential investments, including modeling, creation of investment memorandum and investor pitch decks as well as data research.  This is an ideal role for someone who is looking to work with an entrepreneurial team in a dynamic work environment.    
The Senior Analyst’s primary responsibilities will be in support of the Principals including the following:

  • Perform and oversee financial modeling and due diligence on new opportunities– being able to present summary material and reports to senior partners/investment committee.
  • Articulation of Longline’s real estate and credit investment/financing offerings to owners, brokers, developers, home-builders, property managers and other intermediaries.
  • Be instrumental in managing the due diligence process including but not limited to: market and comparable analysis, residential and commercial lease analysis, third party reports, lenders, legal and zoning review, property site inspection, capital improvement assessment(s).
  • Identify strengths, weaknesses, value creation opportunities, and risks in potential investment opportunities.
  • Assist in creation of Investment Committee Memorandums and presentation materials.

 Qualifications:

Candidate must possess the following skill set and background:

  • High level of professionalism with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum of three years direct/relevant experience in commercial real estate and/or lending transactions.  Preferably in one of the following arenas: private equity, investment banking.
  • Ability to be flexible, independent, and collaborate with fellow team members.
  • Significant Experience writing investment memorandums and/or overseeing the production of investor presentations.
  • Advanced knowledge of excel, PPT, and Microsoft office.
  • MBA or other advanced degree in real estate and or finance is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
