Glenmont Capital Management, LLC (“Glenmont”) is a New York-based real estate private equity investor focused on real estate investments in growth markets throughout the United States. Glenmont manages a series of closed-end, institutionally backed investment funds, as well as direct investment vehicles, seeking both value-add and opportunistic investments, including distressed and underperforming real estate requiring repositioning, select development opportunities and non-performing loans. Glenmont pursues a diversified approach towards real estate investing and currently holds positions in multifamily and hospitality assets across the United States.

Glenmont is seeking to add an Investment Analyst to its team. The Analyst will be actively involved in the diligence and underwriting of new investment opportunities and assisting with the on-going asset management of Glenmont's existing investment portfolio. 

Responsibilities for the Analyst role will include:

  • Development and maintenance of investment underwriting models for all property types
  • Market due diligence and research
  • Drafting investment memorandums
  • Assisting with investment due diligence by collecting, reviewing, and summarizing third-party reports, legal documents, and various other due diligence documents
  • Assisting the asset management team with on-going management of existing portfolio and business plan execution

Requirements for the Analyst role include:

  • Undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience (private equity, development, banking, or advisory)
  • Extensive knowledge of all major real property types and valuation techniques for each
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to create complex investment models for all property types
  • Ability to self-manage
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of the real estate capital markets
  • Knowledge of equity joint-venture structures / ability to model cash flow waterfalls
  • Specific experience in the multifamily and hospitality investment sectors is a plus
