JOB SUMMARY
The Associate Buyer will be responsible for carrying out service provider sourcing, tactical onboarding and information gathering for assigned geographic areas and trades. The Associate Buyer will be responsible identifying qualified Service Partners, collecting require documents, and understanding the Service Partners capabilities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify potential Service Partners to expand our depth and capacity.
Support Service Partners with new opportunities.
Work in conjunction with Buyers to identify areas of opportunities and strategies to close the gaps in the network.
Update required documents from Service Partners.
Sourcing of Service Partners for new clients as well as replacements of underperforming Service Partners.
Understanding of tasks required in a rapid changing environment.
Convert generated leads to Service Partner agreements.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Intermediate in MS Office products including Excel. Ability to work independently towards a defined goal. Strong communication and customer service skills via phone and email. Organized and detail oriented.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Facilities maintenance knowledge. Basic understanding or HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and General Maintenance trades.
