POSITION
Full-Time, Salaried, Performance-Based Bonus

As Conventus’ Director of Asset Management, you will lead an asset management team and oversee cash flow- and asset value-maximizing strategies surrounding (i) loan modifications, extensions, foreclosure notices, and other resolutions; (ii) non-performing loan project oversight; (iii) property management; and (iv) data analysis to inform future processes. Conventus’ goal is to create a data- and process-driven asset management platform that creates synergies with our lending business and maximizes value on behalf of capital. The role will be part of a fast-paced environment and interact closely with loan operations, borrowers, attorneys, and our third-party servicers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage a team of asset managers charged with borrower collections, loss mitigation, loan principal recovery,
  • Work cross-functionally with loan operations, attorneys, general contractors, vendors, property managers, receivers, and other parties to resolve and maximize recoveries on non-performing loans.
  • Collaborate and oversee third party servicers, recievers, and other vendors to monitor and manage loan performance.
  • Build data-driven and proven processes to create a scalable, nationwide asset management platform.
  • Prepare detailed analysis and provide recommendations on non-performing loan modifications, extensions, foreclosure actions, Trustee bids, and REO acquisition and dispositions.
  • Ensure loans are performing under loan document terms and that Conventus is appropriately maximizing its rights under loan agreements.

QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements

  • BA/BS degree
  • 10+ years of real estate experience with 2 to 5 years of experience with non-performing loans and workouts. Prior experience at a real estate asset management, investment management, or special servicer is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated analytical and flexible approach to problem solving with extremely high attention to facts and details
  • Ability to thrive and multitask in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams to successful outcomes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
