Responsibilities
COMPANY: Essex Property Trust (NYSE: ESS), a fully integrated real estate investment trust (REIT) that acquires, develops, redevelops, and manages multifamily residential properties in select West Coast markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Company is looking for an Investor Relations Associate. This person will be an integral member of the Investor Relations team of a S&P 500 Company, assisting with communications and planning activities relating to institutional shareholders.
Specific responsibilities will include:
-Preparing the Company s investor presentations which requires a strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a demonstrated interest in finance, marketing, or real estate
-Ability to maintain and analyze data sets and communicate findings succinctly
-Build and maintain relationships with sophisticated investors
-Assist with quarterly earnings conference calls and related materials
-Assist with investor-related logistics as needed
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will have the following:
-Bachelor s degree is required
-Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, preferably in Real Estate, Investor Relations, Marketing or Finance
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Strong computer skills are required and should include Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
