Company Profile Hankey Investment Company (“HIC”) is a Los Angeles-based, privately-owned, opportunistic real estate investment firm focused on investing in commercial real estate primarily in Southern California. HIC has three distinct business lines: (1) private lending business with nearly $1 billion in loans on commercial real estate (2) a portfolio of office and land holdings including close to two million square feet of office, medical office, and retail and 1,500 multifamily units primarily in Southern California, and (3) a portfolio of ground-up development assets. HIC is the real estate investment arm of the privately-held Hankey Group of Companies with assets totaling nearly $10 billion and returns averaging 20% per annum.
